The Emerald
Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau sponsored the first Rock the Beach
concert in June as part of an effort to boost morale and businesses in the
area after the oil spill. The June
concert, featuring Kenny Loggins and the Doobie Brothers, drew more than
7,000 people and raised almost $6,000 for the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge.
The Okaloosa County Tourist Development Council and
Emerald Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau is sponsoring "Rock The Beach" on
Sunday, June 27 at 5:00pm adjacent to the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.
In
concert, free of charge, will be the Doobie Brothers!
Dance in the sand to rock
